What We Believe
Grundéns believes that fishing feeds all of us physically and emotionally. It is our livelihood but more importantly it’s our passion. Fishing at its core is about respect for nature, the elements, the greater journey, the challenges, the experiences we bring back and the connection with it all.
OUR STORY
It began almost 100 years ago on the west coast of Sweden, in the small fishing village of Grundsund when Carl A. Grundén began producing waterproof oil skins to protect the fisherman of the North Sea from the demanding, harsh conditions of their job. Our next big step was opening our factory in Portugal in 1972. Today we continue to produce a significant number of our products within our own factory in Lisbon, Portugal allowing us to focus on the importance of construction and quality.

Herkules Bib
The Herkules 16 Bib Pant, crafted in Grundéns’ Portuguese factory, has been a trusted choice for commercial fishermen since 1954. Made from heavy-duty 610 g/m² PVC-coated fabric, it offers EN343-certified waterproof protection and withstands extreme cold down to -40°C. With a relaxed fit for easy movement and layering, this iconic bib combines heritage, durability, and functionality to meet the toughest demands at sea.

Deck-Boss Ankle Boot
The DECK-BOSS™ collection is designed to provide anglers with comfortable performance driven footwear options that will outlast even the longest days on the water. We’ve prioritized a thicker insole to promote noticeable shock resistance and the anti-odor cooling liner will ensure you leave the typical footwear stench behind.
