Draken ONE - Winner Best New Product

Svivlo's flagship baitcasting reel, Draken ONE, has been awarded Best New Product in the Spinning and Baitcasting Reel category at EFTTEX 2025, Europe’s leading trade show for the sportfishing industry.

The award was presented as part of the Best New Product Showcase, where new tackle innovations are evaluated by an international jury of industry experts.

Draken ONE was recognized for introducing a new mechanical approach to spool control that reduces the need for adjustment during fishing.

“We didn’t set out to add more features to a baitcasting reel,” said Patrik Zander, CEO and Founder of Svivlo.
“We set out to remove the need to constantly manage it. You set it once. Then you fish.”

At the core of Draken ONE is CastGuard™, Svivlo’s patented mechanical braking system. The spool runs freely while the lure is pulling line and stabilizes automatically when that pull fades. The result is fewer interruptions and less need for brake adjustments or thumb timing.
